Rolled canvas
The finished painting is carefully rolled and protected inside a rigid tube. Shipping is usually more compact and the canvas can be stretched or framed locally.
Stretched or framed
The painting leaves the studio mounted on its support, with an optional artisan frame. This is the more premium but bulkier delivery route.
